Jaquel Godfrey, daughter of NENEN Founder Jovia Godfrey, enjoys the beach, singing, playing volleyball, and baking.
In June of 2020, Jaquel's passion for baking sparked in her a desire to pursue entrepreneurship; and at the age of 12, she opened a plant based at-home bakery called Lovely Lilacs.
Jaquel's vocal talent has afforded her opportunities to sing with Boston Children's Chorus, Merger (a traveling vocal band of friends from her church), and her high school Chamber Ensemble.
Over the course of her high school years, Jaquel has participated in such additional activities as orchestra, varsity volleyball, track and field, yearbook club, and she holds membership with her high school’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter, where she has served as VP of Communications as well as historian and photographer.
Jaquel aspires to pursue a career in journalism and plans to continue entrepreneurial endeavors as well. She is most excited about acquiring new business skills under the leadership of the NENEN team.
